Choose the role you are studying

YourStudy Space supports nursing, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, medical and pharmacy student profiles. Set your discipline during account setup or in Account settings. Where a training-level selector is available, choose the level that matches your current program rather than a future role.

ADN and BSN choices both use RN study framing. NP study is distinct from RN study, and medical-student practice is not the same as independent physician practice. A profile helps the app aim its language and exercises; it does not certify a scope of practice.

Make the same topic relevant to your work

Several roles may study the same condition while asking different questions. One learner might focus on observations and escalation, another on medication review, and another on a differential and investigation plan. Tell Tunza AI which responsibility you want to practice when the general role is not specific enough.

For a group discussion, make those differences explicit. Ask each participant what they would notice, communicate and verify in their role. Avoid assuming that only one profession can contribute to reasoning or that every role should carry out the same action.

Check the profile at the point of use

New Study Kit material uses saved profile information. My Clinical Day also offers encounter choices tied to role and specialty. Before starting, check the selected role and the brief. A previously saved set may still reflect the role chosen when it was generated.

Your institution, country and placement can have expectations that a general profile does not capture. Add relevant context to the question and check local teaching requirements. Public guidance from another jurisdiction may be useful for comparison without being the rule for your course.

Keep practice within its purpose

Use role-based exercises to prepare for discussion, supervised practice and reflection. They do not replace clinical placements, faculty assessment or official examination preparation requirements. If an action in a simulation conflicts with your teaching or real scope, pause and review it with an instructor.
